Online college courses are now available in the areas of:

  • Bible/Theology/Missions
  • General Education
  • Professional Studies

 

Each course runs for designated dates and is taught by adjunct faculty. Online courses count toward undergraduate degrees at Washington Bible College. Please note, as with all courses, you must be admitted as a student in order to take courses for credit. Contact the Registrar's Office by email or by calling 301-552-1400, ext. 1264.

about online courses

What is the cost of tuition?
The tuition cost for online courses is the same as for face-to-face courses.
PLEASE NOTE: There is an $84 technology fee for online courses (included at registration), which does not apply to face-to-face courses.

Is financial aid available for online courses?
Financial aid is available for online courses just as it is for face-to-face courses. Students can apply for financial aid completely online.

To be eligible for federal aid, students must be enrolled in 15 consecutive weeks of courses (all online or a combination of online and face-to-face courses).

Who can take online courses at WBC?
Any student who has been accepted (through the admissions process) and is in good standing may register for online courses.

Are the admissions requirements different for online students?
No. Admissions requirements for online students are the same as for face-to-face students.

Do I need any software or devices to take classes online, such as a web cam?
No. All communication will take place via email and online discussion boards. Students will need only Microsoft Office software and the ability to log onto the world wide web.
